WATCH: Rick Santorum Lives Up To His ‘Name’ When Talking Immigration Policy (Video)

The urban dictionary’s most famous definition might be that of a “santorum.” As they define it;

1. That frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter that is sometimes the by-product of anal sex.2. Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA)
As his happy cries subsided, the sweet sticky santorum began dribbling from his distended asshole like melted mocha frappuccino. He told me that he loved me. It was only then that I realized the man I’d sodomized in a Pittsburgh bathouse was noe other than Senator Rick Santorum (R-PA). I felt dirty.

This weekend appearing on CBS’s Face The Nation the former GOP Senator and 2016 Presidential contender lived up to that definition.
Santorum has seemingly taken the political strategy that he can snag all the people that are filled with hate and would go for Trump if Trump weren’t so blunt. He is basically trying to slightly “soften” Trumps mantra of hate — a mantra that has caused Trump to get bounced from just about every respectable business relationship he has had with the media and several other industries. Santorum stated that while he doesn’t think the undocumented people in America are all a bunch of rapists, he thinks they are all coming with “bad intent.”
He cites as his proof the “undeniable fact” that they are breaking the law, therefore they MUST be criminals.
Allow me to correct you on a couple of things, Rick … First off, most of our undocumented immigrants aren’t swimming the Rio Grande like you are fantasizing. The biggest thing that drives illegal immigration is VISA OVERSTAYS. Even conservative news outlets like the Wall Street Journal have reported that as much as 40 percent of our total “illegal” population is the result of overstays.
Roughly 40% of the 11 million undocumented workers in the United States are foreigners who came legally mostly through visas but have overstayed the length of the visas or overstayed their legal residence here, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday. These immigrants did not cross the U.S. border with stealth but rather obeyed the laws when they arrived. The scant hard evidence about this group indicates that they are better educated than non-visa illegal immigrants, and often speak English with greater fluency. They also tend to emigrate from Europe, Asia and Africa,  rather than Central and South America. In many cases, they used tourist visas to enter the U.S.

They aren’t swimming the river, they are going to Disneyland then not going home, Rick.

Second, allow me to remind you that their “incredibly criminal act” is a misdemeanor on the level of a traffic ticket. By your meaure, the vast majority of Americans are people of “bad intent.” Why do you hate America so much, Rick?

But you already knew that about the actual diversity of the immigrant population, didn’t you Mr. Santorum? As a lawyer and a former Senator you know these facts but like Trump, you want to sell the ugly face of fear and hate in your immigration package to the lowest common denominators from your party. From your language, the way you kept referring back to “legal immigrants” and inferring that you and people like you (Trump) are really the ones “looking out for them.” I noticed you didn’t say that in Navajo Rick but the crass scheme you have in mind is starting to take shape.

This must be the next evolution in the “self – deportation” strategy. Now, the legal immigrants are going to “see the light” that the radical right wing conservatives are really the ones looking out for them and they will therefore turn on their “illegal” counterparts.

Really Rick?

You forget that most of these illegal immigrants, as you call them — are with their families. You are trying to divide families ideologically? That’s how you are going to “win” this? By fracturing more families of immigrants by deporting people who long to breathe free?

I should have expected it though, as this is what today’s GOP does — divide. This is the same strategy they used with gay marriage. They painted gay people as dangerous outsiders and those “others.” Over time though, as brave LGBT people “came out” it was soon clear that those “others” were a part of every family.

Here, the “dangerous rapists” as Trump says or just shady people with “bad intents” as Santorum calls them are playing the role of the “others” to be shunned. Again, I think the GOP underestimates (by a country mile) how many undocumented immigrants are part of most every family and community’s lives. Like with gay marriage as well, some of them you probably don’t even know are illegal, perhaps in your family, perhaps among your friends … or your wife’s friends … or your kid’s friends … etc, etc …

With 5 million new Latinos being expected to register to vote in the upcoming election, Santorum and his ilk won’t win any of them over to their side of the aisle with such vulgar pandering to the base which should prove very beneficial to the democratic nominee.

One more thing, Rick … I am sure the natural “chime in” retort here for your side is saying ok, those illegals from Europe and such are the “good illegal immigrants” while those swimming the river and jumping the fence are the “bad immigrants.” Gotta divide and conquer, right?

Well most of those unlucky folks that have to come across and go back and forth are in large part those ones that are doing the migrant farm work and menial tasks that many Americans admittedly won’t do. So while you enjoy some fruit that those bad people help get safely to your table and check out of the hotel on your campaign stops and that evil undocumented maid makes it nice and clean for the next wealthy guest (just like she did for you the day before) you just keep thinking about how righteous you are and how bad they are.

It will make November 2016 that much easier.
