Donald Trump’s arrogance cannot be matched — after all, he wouldn’t allow it. As Donald once told an interviewer, however, that same arrogance and ‘everything I touch turns to gold’ attitude is what lead him to many of his failures in business. It seems that nasty trait is getting the best of him again.
At a campaign rally, Trump pompously touted his own popularity, and essentially calling his supporters ‘stupid’ in one sentence.
‘I could go out in the middle of 5th Avenue, shoot someone and not lose any voters, OK?’
Trump meant it as a compliment to his rabid and loyal – like a puppy dog – fanbase. It wasn’t. Politifact has documented that over 90 percent of what Trump says is partially false or more. Many of his plans, like the Wall that Mexico will pay for and the bans on Muslims are simply not doable or inherently cruel and anti – American. Yet his base continues to go along, many of them selling out their supposed ‘stalwart conservative values’ for Trump’s promises of ‘making you rich’ by watching him win all the time — or something.
It doesn’t appear Trump is exactly joking in the clip. It might be hyperbolic, even for him — but not by much. People want this guy to be President, right?
Check out the clip here … it was filmed at a campaign event in Sioux City, Iowa;
To further show how full of himself Mr Trump is, he doesn’t even consider that he’d be facing murder charges — just how popular he would continue to be. As George Takei would say — ‘Oh my.’
