Mitt Romney was certainly outspoken in regards to Trump’s bid for the presidency. He campaigned hard in the primary for anyone but Trump.
“The only serious policy proposals that deal with the broad range of national challenges we confront today, come from Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and John Kasich,” Romney said. “One of these men should be our nominee.”
Much to the ire of Mitt Romney, and subsequently the majority of Americans, Trump is now President-elect.
“His is not the temperament of a stable, thoughtful leader. His imagination must not be married to real power.” – Mitt Romney
Mitt Romney, like many of Trump’s other outspoken more moderate Republican opponents, now find themselves trying to carry favor with Trump. It would seem that The Donald is rather enjoying having a new-found position of power over those that rightly besmirched him as unfit to wear the big boy pants.
Trump has been courting Romney to be his Secretary of State and it would appear Romney has kowtowed to Trump’s will. Mitt has done a complete 180 and is now singing the praises of Donald Trump.
Trump took Romney to dinner at celebrity Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurant, Jean-Georges of New York. It almost seems like a tactic used by Darth Vader in Star Wars.
“I had a wonderful evening with President-elect Trump,” Romney said to reporters after the dinner. “We had another discussion about affairs throughout the world and these discussions I’ve had with him have been enlightening, and interesting, and engaging. I’ve enjoyed them very, very much.”
Well, that’s not how the users on Twitter saw it.

A quick quip at the expense of Mormons.
I'll never believe that dinner wasn't just two hours of Trump asking Romney where Joseph Smith's gold tablets are
