Alex Jones Loses It Over 400-Pound Goblin Demons (Video)

Children's story hour at your friendly neighborhood library's not what it used to be, and Infowars' Alex Jones has whipped himself into a frothing rage.

Children’s story hour at your friendly neighborhood library’s not what it used to be, and Infowars’ Alex Jones has whipped himself into a frothing rage.

First, as Right Wing Watch reports,  Infowars “reporter” Owen Shroyer spewed forth conspiracy theories about an alleged liberal plot to “sexualize” children by having drag queens in full regalia read books to them. Oh, and of course it happened at “Michelle Obama’s library” in Long Beach, Calif. because our former FLOTUS is actually a transgender woman her parents named “Michael.”

“They want to sexualize the children. They want to bring this demonized culture, like literally Satanic culture, into the mainstream, have it at public libraries, and just pass it off as normal, accepted, this is just the norm now.”

Then Alex Jones picked up on the topic and fumed, “Imagine if someone in a demon outfit showed up next to a baby giraffe and said, ‘Hi, I’m a demon. Be inclusive. Don’t be mean to me. Let me wear demon horns and come up and look like a complete alien from another planet.'”

A photo of a drag queen dressed as a pink sparkly version of Malificent and reading to a group of children appeared on the screen as Alex Jones fumed:

“They dress up like space aliens all over the United States of America and all over the world in horrible demon psychopath outfits that make Pennywise look beautiful. And they show up and they have their way with children, in demon outfits. I mean, if you’ve got men that look like 400-pound goblin demons with your children, there’s nothing you won’t put up with.”

Obviously, Alex Jones hasn’t looked in the mirror lately, because he’s looking a lot like a 400-pound goblin demon himself these days. He then bawled, “There isn’t a species on the planet that would let something that looks like a space alien get up close to its kids. But only in America does it happen and I’m sick of it.”

Then, Alex Jones shouted, “I’m tired of it right now. I can’t handle it anymore!” and the screen went black as Alex Jones stood up and stood poised to hurl his chair at the camera.

But here’s what Snopes has to say about this and similar reports. The event involved nothing demonic or harmful to children. The reading took place on Oct. 2014 as part of a “Drag Queen Story Hour” series in honor of LGBT month.

Nor was it held at “Michelle Obama’s library,” implying that the former first lady was somehow involved in what right-whingers see as an attempt to transform American children into sexual deviants. The Michelle Obama Neighborhood Library in Long Beach, Calif. was named after her, and Xochi Mochi (Jorge Alcantar) was the Los Angeles drag queen who came for the reading.

Jorge Alcantar, the drag queen “demon” wrote on his Facebook page, “I got to read to the children today and it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever been given as a drag queen. It’s so important to have representation and normalize all the letters in the LGBTQIA+ in everyday lives. I saw so many excited faces it filled my heart with so much joy and hope to come back again soon! Thanks again to everybody who made this opportunity a reality and make such a successful LGBT event.”
