UPDATED: Kentucky Woman Could Face Charges For Racist Hate-Speech In J.C. Penney (VIDEO)

(See updates below the main article …)

Since the election of Donald J Trump, we seem to be seeing more and more of this. By this, I mean brazen and arrogant displays of racism. It is unknown whether this woman is a Trump voter, but it is a safe wager that she isn’t a Clinton supporter.

The scene is the Jefferson Mall in Louisville, Kentucky. Inside the J.C. Penny store at the check out line. The woman, who has not been publically identified, launches into a racist, foul-mouthed tirade against two Hispanic women who are calmly paying for their items. Sadder than her ignorant rant is the fact that no one bothers to stick up for the women. The clerk only speaks up when the old lady swears and tells her to watch her language.

The old lady does tell them to “get in the back of the line” but one gets the feeling she isn’t referring to the line at the store but rather the “immigration line.” It is not known, nor is any evidence provided that the women are in the country illegally or even non-citizens. The only thing that is evident from the video, is that the Hispanic women certainly have more patience and tolerance than many would when they are confronted with such hate.

“Just go back wherever the f*ck you came from,” she told one shopper. “Hey, tell them to go back where they belong. You know, they come here to live and they act like they’re everybody else. Get in the back of the line like everybody else does.”

The angry woman also suggested the women were paying for their items with taxpayer-funded welfare income. She was seemingly unaware that illegal aliens cannot receive welfare. So either they would have to be legally in the country or not getting welfare — both cannot be true.

According to a CNN report;

Undocumented immigrants do not qualify for welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, and most other public benefits. Most of these programs require proof of legal immigration status and under the 1996 welfare law, even legal immigrants cannot receive these benefits until they have been in the United States for more than five years.

Officials at Jefferson Mall in Louisville said they planned to ban the woman, who is white and appears to be in her 60s, once she’s identified. According to their Facebook page;

We are aware of the video posted online today from one of the department stores. Jefferson Mall strives to create a comfortable and convenient experience for all of our guests and we absolutely do not condone this type of behavior. We will work to identify this woman, and once identified, she will be permanently banned from Jefferson Mall, per our Behavioral Code of Conduct.

UPDATE: A recent post on the mall’s Facebook page suggest they are reaching out to find the harassed women. Many posters in their comments section are suggesting that they do something in compensation to the women, like a gift card, for example.

UPDATE #2: Louisville, Kentucky Mayor Greg Fischer has issued the following statement;

UPDATE #3: According to a local Kentucky station, the woman could face criminal charges for her outburst.

The Jefferson County Attorney Mike O’Connell said his office would review for possible prosecution any evidence from the individuals who are of the focus of the outburst at Jefferson mall.

O’Connell said in part, “I personally denounce the intolerant actions of one woman at Jefferson Mall, and also feel that this incident could rise to the level of criminal conduct.”
