Fox News Host Sean Hannity Deletes Tweet Saying Amen To ‘Make Russia Great Again’

Sean Hannity Fox News

Well, it seems good ole boy and Fox News equivalent to Jerry Springer, Sean Hannity may have just had a bit of a ‘Freudian Slip’ as he has quickly deleted a reply to a tweet from a dubious Twitter account on Sunday.

Much to Hannity’s dismay, New Media never sleeps and many were on hand to capture screen shots of the tweet.

Hannity’s reply was the phrase “Amen”. What he was religiously agreeing with here was a tweet from an obvious troll account that goes by the handle “@donnielilhands”.

Quite an ironic time to have such a slip-up. After tensions are high between the U.S and Russia. Because Russia just helped to elect Republicans. And we all know just how much Fox News loves Republicans.

Current tensions between the U.S and Russia are reaching Cold War-era highs after accusations from U.S intelligence agencies of hacking the DNC as well as the Clinton campaign.

Some Twitter users weren’t letting Hannity slide on his “mistake”. As one user pointed out, “Who confuses the word ‘Russia’ with ‘America’?” There are some honest mistakes, and this maybe was one. Or then again Sean Hannity could just be really overjoyed with Putin right now.

That we have yet to hear Republicans outside of the reasonable now-fringe moderates call into question the validity of this election due to the obvious tampering with our democracy is no surprise at all.

In an earlier interview with Jake Tapper of CNN, Kellyanne Conway refused to acknowledge that this cyber attack occurred as she sidestepped and only referred to it as the “alleged attack”. She is an adviser to Trump whom just had an intelligence briefing from U.S intelligence agencies concerning this cyberattack from another nation to influence the outcome of our election so his position is obvious.

Trump is in complete denial of this election interference despite his call for Putin to help him win on national television. He had this to say in a statement after his intelligence briefing.

“While Russia, China, other countries, outside groups and people are consistently trying to break through the cyber-infrastructure of our governmental institutions, businesses and organizations including the Democrat National Committee, there was absolutely no effect on the outcome of the election including the fact that there was no tampering whatsoever with voting machines. There were attempts to hack the Republican National Committee, but the RNC had strong hacking defenses and the hackers were unsuccessful.” – Trump

So while we have ardent conservative talk show hosts misconstrued as newsmen making the “funny” mistake of endorsing a nation that just helped put the world on edge, we also have a President-elect that doesn’t care as long as he wins.
